The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University seeks applicants for a Lecturer position in Engineering Management.


This position will lead the design and implementation of team-based student projects that are part of the Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management in both on-campus and distance formats.  This person will be expected to develop relationships with Industry to intellectually collaborate on these projects. This position will also support the students in their professional development during the course of their degree. Finally, this person will also design and teach courses related to engineering innovation in both on and off-campus formats. 


The Master of Engineering degree is a coursework and project-oriented program to help graduates lead people, make better decisions to advance their organization, and disrupt their field. It is a heavily interdisciplinary in nature.


This person will have an undergraduate and master’s degree in engineering or a related field. Also at least 5 to 10 years of experience including leading positions. The ideal candidate will have experience with startup companies based on novel technologies.  The start date for this position is July 2018.  The position is full time for a 5-year term and is renewable indefinitely. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
