The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University has an immediate opening for an Extension Associate – Data Associate in the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability in the Extension/Outreach Division.
Our Team:
The Yang-Tan Institute (YTI) conducts research and provides continuing education and technical assistance on many aspects of disability in the workplace. Researchers and practitioners at YTI have helped companies, labor organizations, government agencies, schools, and communities throughout the United States and abroad to accommodate and integrate individuals with disabilities. Our team consults with business and industry, and with policy makers, educators, disability advocates, and rehabilitation practitioners.
What you will do:
The position’s primary focus will be as a Data Associate for the NYS Education Department’s Data Technical Assistance Partnership (D-TAP). Must reside in or be able to travel to New York State to complete project responsibilities.
This role will develop curriculum and materials, provide technical assistance to content specialists, and support Partnership evaluation planning and implementation for the Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) for Data. The position will work with other Technical Assistance Partnerships to support twelve Office of Special Education Educational Partnership Regional Teams, which include content specialists from Regional Partnership Centers (RPCs), as well as Family and Community Engagement Centers (FACE Centers, early childhood and school age).
Extension Associate is a full-time, academic, non-tenure track, term position with an initial appointment through December 31, 2023. The position may be re-appointed based on recommendations by the appropriate YTI Leadership and Associate Dean for Outreach, as well as available funding and work.
