The Department of Government invites applications for a faculty position in American (US) Politics, focusing on Public Law, with those working at the intersection of law and political economy especially well-suited. The position will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. A successful applicant is expected to conduct and publish research and teach courses in the field of American (US) Politics, including constitutional law, law and political economy, and/or law and courts. Service to the department's broader research and teaching mission is also expected. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate field of study prior to the appointment start date on July 1, 2027.

Pay range: $83,200 - $110,800
Actual salary offers in the College of Arts and Sciences will be based on education, experience, discipline, and relevant skills.
