Plant and Insect Caretaker / Research Support

The Heck Lab at the Boyce Thompson Institute in collaboration with USDA is recruiting for a Research Support Worker. This individual will act as a caretaker for greenhouse plants and insect colonies in a scientific research setting. Work schedule, number of hours worked each week, and pay are negotiable for the right candidate and will commensurate with experience and training. The weekly objective will be to ensure reliable production of plants for laboratory experiments and to feed herbivorous insect colonies. Rearing of insects and maintenance of the insect colonies of a more in depth nature could be an opportunity for the right individual.
